Do you want to gain valuable first-hand experience in documentary filmmaking? Are you passionate about gender equality and the fight for women’s rights? Then come join us!
We are seeking enthusiastic interns to help with a feature-length documentary film about the explosion of the women’s movement in the late 1960s and early 70s, being produced by award winning filmmakers. We are hoping to finish the film by the end of 2012 and we need your help to do it!
We’re looking for a minimum commitment of 2 days/week. Duties may include: assisting on shoots, transcribing interviews, archival film and photo research, assistant editing, as well as helping with our website and social media (facebook, twitter, etc).
Final cut pro experience and computer skills preferable. Knowledge or interest in the subject of the women’s movement a plus.
